ABOUT JULIANAJuliana Gessner is a scenic designer, scenic artist, and visual artist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They graduated from UW-Madison with a B.S. in Theatre & Drama and have worked on University Theatre shows such as Dance Nation, Joe Turner's Come and Gone (Scenic Designer & Scenic Charge), and Spring Awakening (Scenic Charge), among others, along with University Opera shows such as The Marriage of Figaro and Songbird (Scenic Designer). Juliana strives to make art that is about play and wonder rather than perfectionism, and loves to experiment with all kinds of digital and traditional mediums. Their favorite projects involve creating small worlds that are jam packed with details because they feel it's the little things that make a world come alive. They also go by @miniplural on social media.
