The Journey Home is a 31 piece illustration series started in October 2019 and finished in May 2020. Originally it began as a project for Inktober 2019, but time, circumstances, and a larger scope for the project extended its timeline. Each piece was done with black ink, a brush, and the occasional white pen. This passion project spans over half a year and every illustration is full of love for the characters, the story, and the simple medium of ink.
